Lines are tubular nylon with minimum strength of from 1,000 lbs. (6&9 ft.) to 1,500 lbs. (12
to 32 ft.). Radial seams are reinforced with 250 lb. tape (6&9) or 1,000 lb. webbing. Lines are joined at the rode end by a shackle with a strength of from
17,000 lbs. to 52,000 lbs. The apex of the PARA-TECH® Sea-Anchors is reinforced with the same webbing as the lines. In use, a correctly sized Sea-Anchor will never be subjected to the loads it is capable of withstanding.
