Our Anchor Rode

Para-Tech's anchor rode combines the advantages of double braid and three-strand twisted into one. Our rode has the strength of double braid, the stretch of a three strand and the added advantage of the splicing ease of hollow braid ... it can even be spliced end-to end with little or no loss of the overall strength.

Other Advantages

1) Only the highest quality type 6-6 NYLON yarns are used, manufactured on the latest and most modern equipment.

2) 3/8", 1/2", 5/8", 3/4" are carried in stock with larger diameters and very long, continuous lengths available.

3) Ends can be pre-spliced with thimbles or dock loops.

4) Easily spliced - splicing tool and instructions included with any order of 250" or more.

 

Rode Stow/Deployment Bags

To carry your anchor rode Para-Tech designed a stow/deployment bag for use with PARA-TECH ® anchor rode. Heavy duty vinyl polyester bags designed for convenient stowage, transport and no-foul deployment of your rode. The bag is tossed overboard during Sea Anchor deployment so the rode deploys in the water. The bag is held captive by the system. They are individually built for your specific system. Available blue or white.

Trip Lines

Sea Anchors should have a trip line for the easiest retrieval. There should be a float at the end. PARA-TECH's trip lines come in their own stow/deployment bag for rapid, ease deployment. 1/4" Polypropylene (floating) line in a RED, heavy duty bag with built in float. Our trip line can also be used as a heaving line. Available in 100, 150, and 200 ft. lengths.

Hardware

We carry a full line of Stainless Steel hardware. Swivels, shackles and rode thimbles are in stock and ready for quick delivery.

Rigging Available

We can provide you with a fully rigged Para-Tech Sea Anchor or Drogue with rode, hardware, etc., tailored for your specific boat and designed for compact stowage and ease of use. Every boat is unique and we will tailor your system for your boat.
