Hi Chip,
Thank you for extra effort of supplying the Sea
Anchor in such a timely manner. I received it on the 23rd, set sail on the 26th and actually used it during the day on the 27th when we had 30 mph winds and 35-45 mph gusts off-shore while we sat below and had a casual afternoon
lunch about 20 miles north of Catalina Island. Did not need to use it but was anxious to try it and it performed flawlessly. The seas were flat due to off-shore winds but it was cool to sit and relax in the high winds. I am very
happy having brought the sea anchor. It was actually fun to heave to - now if I can just figure out the repacking sequence.

Four Uses For Drogues 1. Speed-limiting Drogues can be of immense value in strong following seas and have been used to stabilize craft
since antiquity. No doubt there are many yachts sailing today that would have gone down had it not been for the grace of God and some sort of device that slowed the boat down.
